Thermal Imaging Camera In Stock Now

Flir C3-X Series compact thermal imaging camera including wi-fi connection. Box includes:

• Thermal camera
• USB-C cable
• carrying pouch
• lanyard
• manual

and volunteers should check that all of these are present in the box on return.

The camera is very easy to use, much like a regular digital camera. The in-built LCD display allows you to look around your home and see the relative temperature of different areas and materials; ideal for looking for draughty areas, damp patches, or unexpected sources of heat.

We will be running short introduction workshops at the Repair Cafés for guidance on how to use the camera to help when insulating and draught-proofing your home, if interested please email fixingforafuture@gmail.com 

Any images taken with the camera can be transferred off the camera using the included USB-C cable (see manufacturer's site for guidance on how to do this on a Mac or on Windows computers) or by setting up a personal wi-fi connectivity and an online account. Volunteers will wipe the camera back to factory settings after every check-out, so members are responsible for making sure any images they want to save are already transferred off, as they cannot be recovered.
